Hello and welcome to the website of London-based writer and ghostwriter Mark Hunter. I have over ten years’ experience in the writing world which has encompassed a BA (Hons) in creative writing; the writing, ghostwriting and editing of over a dozen books, screenplays and scripts; and the teaching of the craft to young people. I now focus almost exclusively on ghostwriting, helping others realise their writing goals by assisting them through the writing process to produce works of real quality. I have worked with retired pensioners, company directors, and OBE and even a member of the Kuwaiti royal family, helping them all create books on a wide range of subjects.

I cover most works of fiction and non-fiction, with specialist business books being an area of particular recent growth. Recent projects have included a biography of an Italian architect, a screenplay on African religion, a commercial novel and a series of HR related books. The only areas of work I can’t cover are heavy sci-fi and romance – all other projects are welcome. If you have passion for your subject then I can learn anything!

This website contains all you need to know about my ghostwriting exploits and services, including detailed breakdowns of the ghostwriting process in the genres I cover and samples of my work, but please feel free to email or call me with any questions that aren't answered here. I live and work in and around London, but travelling is not a problem. The beauty of ghostwriting is that an entire project can be completed remotely if required, so geographical locations really don't impinge at all - one client for whom I have completed some six projects in eight months has never even met me! Face to face meetings are of course ideal, but not necessary in order to achieve success.

The site also contains a detailed section on self-publishing - of which I am a huge advocate. If you want information on this new kid on the literary block, from the fundamentals to the intricacies of publishing your own work in both physical and digital format, please see my self-publishing section.

I hope you find the site informative and I look forward to working with you.
