I was born in a pensioner-populous village in Hampshire and raised on a diet of Roald Dahl, Spike Milligan and the TV shows of Armando Iannucci before studying Creative Writing at Bath Spa University in 2001, where I remained for six years in total. I spent much of my post-university time writing comedy sketches, scripts and screenplays whilst teaching writing to young people. During this time my comedy radio show Inspector Crimescene Investigates and short film Death by a Salesman were produced by independent production companies. To see samples of these works and others, click here. I moved to London in 2007 where I combined ghostwriting with teaching and also the writing of my debut novel University of Life. This book was signed up by a small publishing house in 2008 but the publication became a victim of the recession six months later. Since then I have concentrated mainly on ghostwriting for others, taking in bio-fiction, chick-lit, biography, business books and screenplays in the process (click here for a full breakdown of my writing history). I have worked with some truly fascinating people and am always on the lookout for new avenues. I am based in London, but location is never an issue.
