James Burroughs is scared. It seems like only yesterday he was getting drunk, singing rude songs about women of questionable integrity and not giving the slightest damn about his job, his life or, heaven forbid, his future. How things have changed. Now he discusses the weather on a regular basis, crosses the road to avoid groups of two or more teenagers and has been in the same tedious job for all of his six post graduate years. His life is stagnating before his eyes...and so he decides to do something about it.

University of Life charts James' hilarious bid to salvage his youth, a journey which takes in excruciating dates, Gloucestershire based music festivals, accidental drugs parties and attracting the attentions of the police, all on the way to the sacred land of the young and the free.

In the circus that is the twenty-first century, a mid-twenties crisis is just another balancing act.
